This quiet self catering holiday cottage near Salisbury sits on the edge of woodland and sleeps up to four people (two adults + two children).

The thatched property is in the little village of East Grimstead, Wiltshire and situated six miles (8km) from the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and ten miles (16km) from the New Forest.

Cosy and well equipped, the holiday cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and a few minutes walk from the entrance to Bentley Wood, a 1500-acre SSSI nature reserve:

• home to some of the rarest UK butterfly species including Purple Emperors
• Bentley Wood also provides habitats for several different kinds of dragonfly thanks to its small ponds and wet meadows
• look out for the numerous deer who call Bentley Wood home and the occasional hare lolloping past
• there are dozens of paths running throughout the woods which are suitable for cycling as well as walking 

Available for weekly holidays and short breaks, this holiday rental is the perfect retreat for anyone who wishes to relax and unwind and take advantage of the many sightseeing opportunities in the area.  

Children are welcome and we allow one well behaved dog.
