Holiday cottage details

Apple Tree Cottage provides comfortable and well equipped self catering accommodation for a holiday party of up to four people (two adults + two children) and one dog.  

The holiday cottage rooms are compact but full of character, and comprise:

• Combined sitting/dining room with two sofas, dining table and chairs.
• A good size digital TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player
• A selection of novels, guidebooks, maps, toys and board games
• Fitted kitchen with butler sink, oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher
• Well stocked under sink cupboard containing washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, kitchen roll
• Bathroom with a shower attachment fitted to the wall, WC and basin, bath mat, loo rolls, hand soap, soap

Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms:

• A double room with its own television
• A twin bedroom with two single beds 
• 100% cotton bed linen is provided, feather duvets (choice of 4.5 or 9 tog) and White Company towels

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a brick garden house, garden furniture, barbecue plus private parking for two cars.  

Additional information

Free WiFi is available (however mobile phone reception can be patchy/non existent - EE is the most reliable network).  

We respectfully request that dogs are kept downstairs and are not allowed on the furniture.

Please note this is an old property and there are low beams and ceilings throughout, so if you are over 6ft tall you WILL bang your head at some point! 

We have taken steps to minimise our impact on the planet by taking these environmentally friendly actions:

• All laundry is dried outside on the line where possible 
• Washing up liquid and hand soap is refillable to reduce plastic consumption
• Cleaning products and dishwasher tablets are effective but kinder to the environment
• Guests are encouraged to recycle
• The garden is planted with pollinators in mind and we never use chemicals
• Swallows are encouraged to nest in the roof of the garden house

If you wish to bring bikes these can be kept in the garden house or locked in the owner's shed.

There is no shop in the village and the nearest supermarkets are in Salisbury (big Tesco and Waitrose).

The nearest pubs are the Hook and Glove in Farley (has a takeaway menu) and the Silver Plough in Pitton.
