Holiday cottage details

Apple Tree Cottage provides comfortable and well equipped self catering accommodation for a holiday party of up to four people and one dog.  

The holiday cottage rooms are compact but full of character, and comprise:
  • Combined sitting/dining room with sofas and dining table and chairs.
  • A good size digital TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player
  • A selection of novels, guidebooks, maps, toys and board games
  • Fitted kitchen with butler's sink, oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher
  • Well stocked under-sink cupboard containing washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, dishcloths and tea-towels
  • Bathroom with a shower attachment fitted to the wall, WC and basin, bath mat

Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms:

  • A double room with its own television
  • A twin bedroom with two single beds 
  • Laura Ashley bed linen is provided and White Company towels

Outside there is an enclosed garden with summer house, garden furniture plus private parking for two cars.  

Additional information

Free WiFi is available in the property and there is full oil fired central heating.  

A travel cot and high chair are available.  

One dog (or two little ones) are welcome for no extra charge. We respectfully request that dogs are kept downstairs and are not allowed on the furniture.

Please note this is a very old property and there are low beams throughout. 

If you wish to bring bikes these can be kept in the summer house or locked in the owner's shed.

There is no shop in the village and the nearest supermarkets are in Salisbury (Tesco and Waitrose), but tea, coffee, milk and biscuits are provided as a welcome. 

The nearest pubs are the Hook and Glove in Farley and the Silver Plough in Pitton. Both offer decent pub grub and are child and dog friendly.
